Learn how to be a sports coach through an exciting blend of practical and theory based modules providing you with the foundation to start your career in the sports and fitness industry. Join our industry leading course which will give you knowledge, skills and practical experience unlike no other.
You will also undertake a work experience placement that your tutor will support you in setting up alongside an SSG mentor. This will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with an employer to develop skills and knowledge as you progress into employment.
Skills Academy students will experience and explore a variety of different sectors throughout the course to better understand career options and opportunities, as well as identify what sectors best suit their own set of skills and career aspirations.

A traineeship programme can be in any industry or with any employer, is a great way to investigate if a job is correct for you and can provide a wonderful platform to demonstrate to an employer the unique skills and abilities you have to make you a ‘must have’ part of their staffing team.
