SSG’s School Holiday Club is Bedford’s top choice for childcare and activity provision, offering an unmatched programme of high-quality activities and exceptional equipment. Running daily from 8:15am to 5:00pm for children aged 5 to 12 years, we combine specialist headline events with timeless favourites, all set in a fantastic location Bedford Greenacre Independent School, making it an experience like no other.
We have now opened bookings for the October Half Term 2026. We will be running from Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October from 8.15am-5.00pm each day.
HOW TO BOOK
We have a new booking system to improve the customer booking experience, when booking for the first time you will need to follow the below instructions.
Click the direct booking button in blue below ‘BOOK NOW’
You will be taken to a calendar view of the Holiday dates that are available to book. Please note if you are wanting to pay using childcare vouchers or the taxfree scheme, this can’t be processed through the online system. Please email enquiries@ssgservices.co.uk or call 01234 340782.
Select your first chosen date by clicking on ‘Add to cart’. You will then be prompted to ‘Sign in to complete your booking’. At this point, please click ‘Create Account’
You will then need to complete the SSG registration form for you and your child/children (you can add multiple children on one registration form).
You will then be able to add the dates you would like to your cart, before checking out and making payment. You may like to save your card details for future use. You will then receive a booking confirmation email with all of the details on.
Please note for future bookings you will just need to log in to your account (so please make note of the password), select the dates you’d like and check out, making it a much quicker process!
If you would like to book using childcare vouchers or the taxfree childcare scheme, this cannot currently be processed through the website, please email info@ssgservices.co.uk and we will be able to help
THE ACTIVITIES
SSG School Holiday Club gurantees all children will have an active, exciting and fun filled school holiday experience with opportunities to develop friendships, explore new activities, push their boundaries and develop independence.
Each day children are split into groups of similar ages and they then rotate around the different activity stations, which you can view below.

We understand that the most important ingredient for our SSG
School Holiday Club has to be the fun and enjoyment of all of our children.
We ensure the day is well paced and that we have staff on
site that can bring a sense of fun, enthusiasm, genuine compassion and
excitement to all activities. Staff are fun, friendly and go out of their way
to ensure that they learn each child’s name as quickly as possible and make
them feel at home.

Our School Holiday Clubs provide a safe, high-quality childcare and activity option for all parents. All venues operate inline with the OFSTED benchmarks and are operated by experienced staff teams.
As an organisation we have been operating provision for children and schools across Bedfordshire for over 20 years ensuring
- All staff are DBS cleared and have ongoing safeguarding and prevent training
- All staff are expertly trained in leadership of children and groups
- Each site has a qualified first aider
- Each site is visited daily by leadership and quality assurance teams

THE VENUE
SSG School Holiday Club will be based from Bedford Greenacre Independent School as of Summer 2025 with the brand new state of the art venue offering unrivalled internal and external spaces specifically designed and catered for primary school children aged 5-12 years.
Facilities include a large sports hall, large activity hall, drama and dance studio, 2 playgrounds and outdoor space.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
SSG School Holiday Clubs are open to children aged 5-12 years old.
Our School Holiday Clubs are not part of our SEND specific clubs & activities offer, and are not suitable for children who require a 1-1. We may be able to support children with low – mild level additional needs, who would be comfortable in groups of up to 15. This is assessed on a case by case basis. Please speak to a member of our friendly team who will assist you in completing our additional needs form. The price is £35.45 per child per day Monday-Friday, which runs 8.15am-5pm.
Yes, we accept childcare voucher payments and the taxfree government scheme payments. To pay with these methods please call 01234 340782 or email enquiries@ssgservices.co.uk. We cannot process these payment methods online.
If you would like to pay via card payment you can book online by clicking the ‘book now’ button, or over the on 01234 340782 (our phone lines are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm). If you would like to use Childcare Vouchers or the TaxFree scheme, your booking will need to be processed over the phone on 01234 340782 or via email enquiries@ssgservices.co.uk.
Yes we do offer fully funded spaces for families who are eligible for free school meals, during the Easter Holidays and Summer Holidays. Please visit our Free School Meals Scheme page for information on how to book these.
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for those with a valid BlueLight Card. We ask for a photo of your BlueLight Card to authorise the discount at the time of booking. To take advantage of this offer you will need to book over the phone on 01234 340782.
No, we do not offer half day sessions. The full day runs 8.15am-5pm. If you would like to drop your child off earlier or collect them earlier, this is fine, please let the team leader know on arrival so they know when to expect you.
Each day your child will need to bring a packed lunch and a refillable drinks bottle. You may also like to send them with a couple of extra snacks, as they stop for a morning and afternoon break.
On warmer days, please ensure they have a sun hat with them and are wearing suncream.
Children should wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing, with closed toe shoes (ideally trainers) that they can easily be active and move around in, and that you don’t mind getting possibly getting messy during our crafty sessions and outdoor adventures.
Our SSG School Holiday Clubs run during every February half term, the Easter holidays, May half term, Summer holidays and October half term. The only school holiday break we don’t run is the Christmas Holidays.
