At SSG we offer a wide range of programmes for all ages, from swimming lessons for children, to corporate team building days for businesses. Find below a glimpse at each of our activities.

SSG Swimming Lessons
We launched our Fish2Water Swimming Lessons in 2003 with the aim of providing high-quality swimming lessons in small classes, operating at a ratio of 6:1 in a friendly, family-focused atmosphere for the maximum development of all children. We offer parent & baby classes and then our independent lessons start from 3 years old. We run our 30 minute lessons 6 days a week from 2 Bedford based venues, and we offer a free trial session for all new children.
SSG Gymnastics Academy
Our recreational Gymnastics Academy runs on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings at Bedford Greenacre Independent School. We offer four different classes, Tiny Tumblers for little ones aged 18months – 3 years (parents join in too), Fantastic Flippers classes for 3-5 year olds, Super Springers classes for 6-9 year olds, and Flyers for 8-10 year olds (advanced, invite only). We offer a free trial session for all new children.
SSG Celestials Football Club
SSG Celestials FC is Bedfordshire’s first and only fully inclusive club for children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities, and mental health issues. We aim to provide fun and inclusive football in a self-sustainable football club that these children, young people, and families can call their own. The club is operated by volunteers across both the coaching team and committee and is a non-profit organisation.
School Holiday Clubs & Activities
We run our School Holiday Club during each school holiday on a daily basis from 8.15am-5pm for children aged 5-12. SSG Holiday Club is the number one option for childcare and activity provision in Bedford offering an unrivalled programme of high-quality activities and incredible high-quality equipment, incorporating specialist headliner activities as well as timeless favourites all packaged in a fantastic location! We also offer fully funded spaces for families who are eligible for free school meals, on selected dates only.
SEND Clubs & Activities
At SSG we are proud to be an inclusive provider with an acceptance vision for everyone of all needs. We have a range of specialist activities, clubs and sessions that have been developed with the SEND community in mind with our mission of helping people to get active and stay active at the core of our offer. School Sport Support & Activity Days
We work with many primary schools within Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire to provide curriculum PE support, before, lunch time and after school clubs. We also travel to schools near and far to deliver our highly popular Adventure & Challenge Activity Days. We take our fully mobile equipment such as our climbing wall, the terminator turmoil inflatable obstacle course, archery tag and more, to set up the ultimate activity day.
