The SSG Education & Training VISION is to help people get skilled and achieve more through an innovative and diverse approach to educational learning, personal development, and professional progression.
We are proud to work alongside local employers, agencies and authorities across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northants to provide a range of skills development courses that are closely aligned with the Local Skills Improvement Plan and all designed to support you in reaching your skills and employment goals!

Who can access our courses and what is the cost?
We are able to provide fully funded courses for anyone over the age of 19 years old who is not currently in education, employment or training and our Maths, English and Digital Skill provision is funded for all 19+ even if you are employed.
If you aren’t sure if you are eligible, or if you are a work coach and aren’t sure if you have an eligible candidate, contact us today and our friendly team will complete a quick eligibility check.

What can you expect from an SSG course?
Our courses are interactive, engaging and most importantly active in their intent of helping to move you closer towards the jobs market OR to upskill to improve your chances of career progression. Although skill development is a serious subject, we ensure that all of our provision is genuinely good fun, so we challenge our tutors to ensure that all of our provision is exactly that – after all life is serious enough as it is!

Our Tutors & Support Staff
Our tutors are fantastic, compassionate and engaging people and are here to help. We recruit our tutors based on their individual traits and work with them to develop and gain the accredited teaching qualifications required to deliver our courses. We firmly believe that by developing our own tutoring teams we are able to provide our groups with access to tutors that really understand what it is like to be an adult learner and have real experience of working in sectors or being in the jobs market.
